Well as some of you may already know, my wallet was stolen out of my zipped up bag. When I discovered the loss the bag was still zipped. Sitting on a bus returning from the Paul Klee Museum, a crowd of people boarded. A woman stood very close to me and put a shopping bag on the back of the seat in front of me. This is where I believe it occurred, although I am still amazed at actually how she unzipped the bag, took the wallet and zipped it up again, particularly as my arm was draped over it. So enough of that. Paul Klee Museum good, but not as good as the Art Gallery, which had some wonderful paintings by Matisse, Picasso, Mondrian, Toulouse-Lautrec - excellent representation. I love that era of artists - and after all the stuff we've seen so far, it's still my favourite.

Do you like the picture of my finger??
No photos are allowed at the Art Gallery except this crystal sculpture in the foyer
Then a walk by the fabulous Ares river - so peaceful and lovely, with amazingly high bridges. People swimming in the fast flow - sunny day, nothing better.
So a very peaceful way to spend the kast day in Bern. Then it's to Zermatt and the Matterhorn and here's a little taste of that
